For those who have not paid $8.30 for the chemistry ten year series, please do so latest by tomorrow's recess. Exact amount is very much needed and appreciated due to the lack of coins for change. Please note that if your $8.30 is not paid by tml, your book will not be issued to you and you will have to buy it from the school bookshop yourself.

Thx!!=D Btw if u guys want to know who is the one that set the questionnaire(the map thing at the start of the race), it's Ze Xun. So u guys know who to blame for the death of your numerous brain cells=)

Still, a BIG thank you to everybody that participate in this field trip, regardless u planned it or played it. It's an enjoyable and memorable 26/01/2008 for, hopefully, the whole 4/3'08 =)

EXPRESS CHINESE COMMON TEST FORMAT 21/01

This is the basic outline of the Express chinese common test on the 21st of January as stated by Mrs Yeo PC.

Duration: 55min - 7.35am to 8.30am
Format:

- Paper 1 full letter writing 应用文 (Average time: 35min)
- Content based questions from lessons 1 to 4 (Average Time: 20min)

The type of letter that will be tested (in/formal) is not confirmed. So, to play safe, please study the format for both types of letter. Also, for the second section, questions asked will be based on passages from lessons 1 - 4. Those with testbook, please revise it inside-out and outside-in. Those without textbooks, try and get it from ur friends.... All the best!

*Dictionary is most probably not allowed as elements of paper 2 are also tested.
**Also, if you are unable to find your textbook on monday morning, please do not panic and buy a new one as some nameless copies are being taken away by other pupils and will be returned on monday.

Class Decoration and CNY Decoration 2008

Alright,

Just by looking at the title, all of you should know what's happening.

It's gonna be class decoration time again.

Basically, we will be doing on next monday after all our remedials or lessons. It will be until about 6.15pm. Well, i do hope that everyone will really participate in this activity.

The Class Committee will need to collect a small $2 from everyone for this activity and the class fund for this month.

What do we need to do?
*3 Things
1) Classroom decoration
2) CNY Decoration
3) Recycling corner

In order for this activity to take place smoothly, we seek cooperation from everyone. We will need all of you to bring along a pair of scissors.

Other than your scissors, try to bring the following if you have them at home.
1) Double sided tape
2) Construction papers ( multi- colours)
3) Coloured Markers
4) CNY Decorations, like those calligraphy leehui did last year

Those who are buying things for the class decoration and you wish to claim your money, please approach myself or edward to tell us before you buy.

We do hope that those people who are really good in art to think of a plan for monday and tell us so that we can get the materials for you.

Higher malay and tamil pupil, you do not need to worry about not participating in it since there will be ample of things for you to do when you come back the next day.

Whether to have a nice or ugly environment, the choice is yours.
